Tervis

Tervis is a private company founded in 1946 by two engineers, Frank Cotter and G. Howlett Davis, in Detroit, Michigan. Combining syllables of their last names, they created the world’s first permanently sealed, double-walled, insulated tumbler. Headquartered in Venice, Florida, Tervis specializes in double-walled, shatterproof Classic tumblers, mugs, and water bottles designed to keep beverages hotter or colder longer and reduce condensation. They also sell branded drinkware through licensing agreements with major sports leagues and colleges.
