Panasonic, founded on March 7, 1918, by Kōnosuke Matsushita in Kadoma, Osaka, Japan, is a global conglomerate. Originally founded as a vendor of duplex lamp sockets, the company introduced its first household appliance, an electric iron, in 1927 under the “National” brand, before eventually adopting the Panasonic brand worldwide. Today, Panasonic sells a wide range of products, including solar and battery storage solutions like the EverVolt brand, and has a history of innovation in home appliances.
