HP

HP, or Hewlett-Packard, was an American multinational information technology company founded by Bill Hewlett and David Packard on July 2, 1939. It initially produced electronic test and measurement equipment, and is noted for pioneering business innovations and inventing the “HP Model 200A” oscillator. HP is also credited with coining the term “personal computer” with its HP 9100A scientific calculator.
