HIFIMAN is a Chinese manufacturer of high-end audio products, including headphones, amplifiers, and portable audio players. Founded by Dr. Fang Bian in late 2005 (initially under the name Head-Direct, adopting HIFIMAN in 2007), the company is known for its innovative audiophile headphones, particularly those featuring planar magnetic transducers and nanometer diaphragms. The company opened its first factory in China in 2010 and is headquartered in Tianjin, China.
