Clorox

Clorox, founded on May 3, 1913, as the Electro-Alkaline Company by five businessmen (Archibald Taft, Edward Hughes, Charles Husband, Rufus Myers, and William Hussey), is a well-known brand in consumer household goods, food, pet care, and commercial cleaning. The company registered the Clorox brand name and adopted the diamond trademark in 1917, and introduced its ultra-refined liquid bleach in 1940. It offers a portfolio of brands, including Clorox 2 all-fabric bleach, Formula 409, Liquid-Plumr, and Kingsford charcoal.
