Body Glove was co-founded by twin brothers Bill and Bob Meistrell in 1953 when they designed the first practical wetsuit using neoprene, inspired by the phrase “fits like a glove.” The brand, headquartered in Redondo Beach, California, originally revolutionized surfing and diving. Today, Body Glove continues to make products for the active outdoor enthusiast, branching out into apparel, sporting goods, swimsuits, shoes, life vests, and other equipment.
